A WARM WELCOME
Just arrived? Head to reception to get all the information you need to get settled in. The team is available throughout your stay to provide any tourist information and make suggestions of the best things to do and see around Lake Aureilhan.
BIKE HIRE
Mimizan boasts over 40km of paths provided specifically for cycling and 10km of other cycling and mountain biking routes.
You can hire bikes at the campsite reception.
Types of bikes available:
— Electric bikes (for adults)
— Classic bikes (for adults and children)
— Child seats
— Trailers
To explore by bike: Take the cycle path to Mimizan-Plage.
Note for seasoned cyclists: The campsite is ideally located just a short ride away from the Vélodyssée cycle path, a fantastic long-distance route that crosses Brittany and follows the Atlantic Ocean down to the Basque coast, offering the chance to see a variety of scenery.
FAMILY ACTIVITIES AND EVENING EVENTS IN THE SUMMER
During the summer season, Camping Aurilandes offers a wide range of activities and events for all the family:

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY PROGRAMME
6 days a week in the summer, from 10am to noon – and completely free! In July and August, activities are offered for children aged 5 to 12:
from treasure hunts to cabin building, the programme is full of chances for them to meet other children while having fun.
TERRA AVENTURA APP
Terra Aventura is a fun activity that combines walking, exploring natural and cultural heritage, observational skills and navigation. Anyone can play, and it’s an exciting way to explore an area with family or friends. This free treasure hunt is based on geocaching and can be played using your smartphone. There are two trails nearby:
– Zahan’s Ark in Aureilhan, close to the campsite
– A Vacation for Zacquet! in Pontenx les Forges.

Enjoy a drink, ice cream or charcuterie board. The snack bar also offers pizzas in the evenings during the summer.
